- Reinforced with high-carbon steel drawn music wire.
- Hemalyke. Hemalyke gives a shiny, metallic gray finish.
- Finished with either a simulated rhodium that gives a silver appearance, or black silvertone which gives a dark appearance, but are first plated with a copper base, then nickel.
